Can a GPU alone drop its power consumption, core clock, usage and voltage during game play.In benchmark like Heaven bench is okay.

A GPU will only use as much power as is needed to render whatever frames it receives from the CPU. If the GPU only needs to operate at 50% of its maximum performance to keep up with what it receives from the CPU in a given game, then it may operate at significantly lower clocks, voltages, etc. than what it does during benchmarks.

I have a different problem with my video card. When my pc is on after some random time i got black screen and a message "no signal".In GPU-Z i got no info about my core clock, memory clock, bandwidth and some other speks. If i manage to start a game its very laggy. Its get fix when i reinstall the drivers. But then it's disappear again after a while.I know that's very bad but i dunno what cause it.If someone know please post.
