It is bugging me now, it shouldn't.

But I must know, why do some accounts have 'join date' as 01/01/1970?

It was a system bug... The last time the forum had a major update (about 3 years or so ago), all the members that were in place at that time, had their join date reset back to the default Linux date.

This may be fixed in the new software update coming out some time this summer (hopefully) but only time will tell.

Aren't the dates lost though, so they can't be fixed? Hopefully it won't happen again though. I would like to know when I joined.
