Question Questioning whether my two computers can handle three monitors

Nov 26, 2019
So currently I have two computers, one is a desktop with GTX 1070 and the other is a Lenovo X1 Extreme (Gen 1) laptop with GTX 1050 ti max-q. My desktop is purely for gaming, while my laptop is for development/business. I am currently running 3 1080p monitors at 60hz on my desktop but want to scrap these and upgrade to 3 1440p monitors at 75hz. I only game on the central monitor and my laptop would not be doing any gaming with these monitors, on the lenovo site it also states that my GPU can handle 4 independent monitors.

I am just wondering if my laptop could handle these monitors with the laptops 4k (UHD HDR (3840 x 2160) IPS ) screen or with the laptop shut and the laptop screen off?

For reference the monitor I am looking to get is the Acer EB275U bmiiiprx 27" WQHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 5ms GTG 75Hz. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!!
