Question Questions about Ark: Survival Ascended

I played Ark Survival Evolved and loved it. I noticed Ascended on Steam and am not 100% clear on whether this is Evolved with better graphics or a slightly different game? I noticed it said you can build a tribe but I think Evolved had that too. I don't play anything but single player. Am I correct that you can't build a tribe in single player? It would be cool if you could recruit NPC's like in Fallout 4. I am really tempted to buy this but if it is just a graphics remake of Evolved I don't think I want to go through all the grinding again.

Not sure about forming tribes in single player. But it does use Unreal Engine 5 and a high-end pc is needed to run the game. Many bugs and crashes have been reported. It is an early access game and that is usually an excuse for poor gaming performance.

I've read up on the little information I can find online and it appears it is a redo of Evolved with better graphics and a few quality of life improvements. I guess I'll pass. I was hoping it was a new game.
