Q1. I noticed that ASRock Z490 Extreme4 have less holes (screw holes) to hold the MOBO in the case. Wondering if it's safe to install in Lian Li 011D case.

Q2. Is it good? compared to MSI z490 gaming edge WIFI.

The screw holes wont be an issue but I would go MSI instead as it has a better VRM setup and ASRock really have not done a great job on the low to mid range Z490's as compared to the others. The MSI has a lot better ports as well as Wifi 6..The links are just for show as I do not know which region you are in...

If you do not need WIFI then the MSI Z490 Tomahawk is also great and a bit cheaper.

Also the Gigabyte Vision G is also great with a proper full 12 phase VRM setup and a 10 bucks more than the MSI Gaming Edge....If you can find it.

Worth watching this video from Hardware Unboxed on Z490 and the comments at the end on ASRock in general across the Z490 range.

Your case can accommodate larger EATX motherboards.
That is why it has the extra supports which you will not need.

As to which motherboard, I can't say.
If you need wifi, you can always add a wifi card.
Best to look at reviews of each candidate motherboard.

What processor will you be using?
