[SOLVED] Questions about CDs

Not really sure where to ask this so Il just put it here. I found a huge stack of disks in the back room that a ready to have Music put on them. Where do I download the music for them? The only way I know right now is the YouTube converters but I’m pretty sure they don’t have cd quality.

I don’t know what exactly file formats there is but I was thinking of the best quality for cds because there is certain songs I’d wanna play on a cd instead of bluetooth.

Are these CDs with music on them already and you are looking to copy that music to a computer, or are they blanks and you are looking to discover where to "download" music to put onto them?

I evidently completely misread your initial comment.

Where to "download music" == somewhere you pay for that service.
There is no magical free service that supplies studio quality music files for free.

What do you want to be able to play this music? Flash drives or SD cards are more typically used to have portable music libraries.

The basic format for CD is the .wav file, 44,100hz 16bits which is the purest form without any compression. The next purest is .flac which is offered by some services. However a .flac to .wav conversion will be necessary for the CD burning software to work. The most prominent service for .flac is probably Tidal.com.

But if you are downloading and burning Music onto CDs and playing it through a High End CD/DVD player which can support and play Hi-res audio. It is better to download Hi-res audio content for it. The difference between Regular MP3 and Hi-res audio formats is noticeable.
