Questions about corsair link?

Basically, I'm going to hook up two extra fans to a h100i I'm getting, and I'm also going to get a rm series PSU, and it says on the Corsair website that it can connect to a Corsair link hub, from what I understand the h100i only comes with the software version of the link, so is there anyway I can still hook it up to the PSU? Because I want to use a RAM cooler which takes one fan motherboard fan connector, and a push pull on h100i, so I should be able to control 2 fans using corsair link and another using the CPU connector, and another using a chassis connector. I'm trying to get all the fans in my to be automatically controlled without a fan controller.

How many CPU fan connectors does your MB have, because the H100i uses one CPU header for monitoring and control (the actual radiator fans plug into the pump module). If you have 2 CPU fan headers, you could use one for the H100i and run 2 more fans off the second header using a Y-splitter.

Well, the 1 - CPU header will have to go to the H100i. There are 2 fan outputs on the H100i pump which go to the radiator. Maybe you could put some Y-splitters on these 2 fan headers to get your additional fan control? I don't know. I'm not sure if you can run 2 fans in PWM control over a splitter. Evidently the PSU to iLink is just to monitor the PSU and PSU fan speed so I don't think that will be of any help.

Maybe someone else that knows more about PWM fans will chime in here. If not, you could always try Corsair tech support.

Oh, I thought that it would limit the voltage going to the fans, so you didn't have to use the motherboard connectors.

From what I saw on the RM PSUs, the iLink just monitors the PSU and PSU fan speed. It didn't say anything about controlling additional fans through the PSU.

Turns out I was wrong, apparently the motherboard Im getting has 2 CPU and 3 chassis, so I'm thinking: put the RAM cooler on a chassis, 2 radiator fans on the chassis, and the other two radiator fans on the CPU. However I still have another 2 fans left over. Can you recommend me a fan splitter (preferably 1->2)?

Keep in mind that 2 fans can run off the H100i pump module and the pump module has a 4 pin fan connector that goes to one CPU header on the MB.

I couldn't find any 4 pin y-splitters, only 3 pin. These will work but you will not have PWM fan speed control/monitoring with 3 pins: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812189063

Hey Question. How did you get the RM PSU to connect to Corsair Link? Did you? If so did you have to buy the "Bridge"?
