Question Questions about Google's "My Ad Center" settings ?

I am not certain if this is the right forum for my questions about Google's "My Ad Center" settings, but since it is related to both Google and Android, I felt this was the best area to ask. I am doing customizations to my Google account. I am currently making changes to my ad preferences under My Ad Center settings. Under My Ad Center's Manage Privacy settings, within the section labeled "Activity used to personalize ads," there are three settings, which also act as settings links, and are all currently set to "On," labeled as "Web & App Activity," "YouTube History," and "Areas where you've used Google." While taking a look at each of these three mentioned settings, they all listed within their "My Activity" sub-links a page listed as "My Google Activity" and listed three settings, which are also set to "On," as "Web & App Activity," "Location History," and "YouTube History."

Within these mentioned settings, which are present in all of the earlier mentioned settings and sections, I am taken to a page called "Activity Controls." On the "Activity Controls" page, control settings are listed for "Web & App Activtity," "Location History," "YouTube History," "Personalized Ads," and "Go To Your Google Account." Now, I suspect that all of these mentioned settings and links go to single sets of settings for controlling Web & App activity, YouTube History, Locations, ads, and my Google Account. I am trying to personalize my ad settings to get ads that are more relevant or appropriate to my preferences, but I do not want to waste my time looking over the same settings if I had looked at them previously or if the settings automatically list and apply the changes I make to other linked web pages and settings. I also do not want to skip anything important in the settings.

Are all of the mentioned settings like Web & App Activity, Location, YouTube History, Personalized Ads, and Go To Your Google Account just a single set of settings for their particular functions that are linked through multiple web pages and settings links where I would only have to use one of the mentioned links to go to those settings, apply the settings that I wish to a particular setting such as Web & App Activity or YouTube History, and those settings would then automatically be applied and listed to on other web pages and settings links where they are listed? Or would I have to go through each of the earlier mentioned My Ad Center settings and links and apply my desired settings individually to settings such as the previously mentioned Web & App Activity and YouTube History?

set your personalized settings in one of the aforementioned spaces.
check the others and see if your previous personalized settings have been applied.
if not, then you will need to apply them to each separate space.
