Hey Everyone,
So I finally decided on a build and I'm waiting for it to come in. Here it is:
Intel Core i7-4770K
Asus Sabertooth Z87
Corsair H100i
EVGA GeForce GTX780 SuperClocked w/EVGA ACX Cooler
Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1000W 80 PLUS Gold
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL9 @1.5V
Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB SATA 6Gbps SSD
7200RPM HDD
DVD Burner
NZXT Phantom 410
My question has to do with the case, Corsair H100i and how to set it up for intake and exhaust.
This is how I look at it but I could be completely wrong as this is my first build. While I've done my best to research all of this, I'm not perfect and I'm open to criticism or ideas.
1.) I will replace the 1x140mm top fan that comes stock with the case with the Corsair (2x120mm fans) as an exhaust. Is that best?
2.) This will leave me with the extra 140mm fan that I can use on the side of the case. The case also comes with 1x120mm fan on the front and back as well. How should I set these remaining fans up intake and exhaust?
3.) I will have a total of 2x fans on top, 1x on the side, 1x on the front and 1x on the back. Is this enough? I plan on doing a little bit of over clocking but nothing crazy.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
