Hey Folks!
Hopefully just a quick one, although that rarely turns out to be the case!

I've had my current rig since October and have had absolutely no issues with crashing or temperatures with my i7-4790K running at 4.4GHz and my Kingston Hyper-X Beast RAM running at 1600MHz

Last night I tried to move the RAM up to its rated frequency of 2133MHz and attempted a Prime95 Blend Test which resulted in crashes at 2133MHz, 1600MHz and 1400MHz

Now as I say, I am fairly confident that the system is perfectly stable outside a Prime95 environment having run many other Stress Tests such as CINEBENCH, 3DMark and AIDA64 along with many hours of of various, high load gaming, with no issues.

I have heard that Prime95 really does not agree with the latest generations of Intel CPUs, is this true? What tests do you run personally when checking for both CPU and RAM stability? I am thinking of re-running the AIDA64 tests the system previously passed and using MemTest86 for the RAM.

Thanks in advance,
Conor
