questions about overclocking

so lets say if someone else has the exact same gpu as me, for example gtx 1080 founders. ive seen ppl overclock it to 2.0 would all card be able to hit that high if i have the appropreiate coolers? srry noob question lol

Every chip is different, so there might be a few people that won't be able to hit 2 ghz. Should be pretty rare though.

yeah, most likely, just keep in mind your PSU have the extra horse power.

The boost clock can hit up to 1800, so i think each 1080 would be able to hit that 2.0 ghz with an aftermarket cooler.
