Looking to build a new PC soon and want to add some RGB to Noctua fans via Phantek's Halos Lux Digital RGB fan frames. I plan on using the following relevant components:

Case: Phanteks Evolv X (http://www.phanteks.com/Enthoo-Evolv-X.html)

Mobo: ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) (https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/TUF-GAMING-X570-PLUS-WI-FI/overview/)

4x Halos Lux Digital LED fan frames (http://phanteks.com/HalosLuxDigital.html)

I haven't dealt with RGB before and have the following questions. Thanks in advance for any responses!

1) I know the case has a built in fan hub so I'll be connecting all of my case fans to either the hub or directly to the motherboard, however, where would I be connecting the Halos frame's connectors? The motherboard manual says that the motherboard has two "AURA RGB Headers (4-pin RGB header)" and one "Addressable RGB Gen 2 header (3-pin ADD_GEN2)" Which header would I be connecting the frames to?

2) I saw some videos on YouTube, that said the Halos frames can be daisy chained. What does this mean and how would it work in my scenario? Would it work like this: One halos frame gets connected to the motherboard's 3 or 4 pin RGB header and is then connected / chained to the remaining three Halos frames?

3) Do i need any additional adapters to make this work?

4) Since I'll also be getting a Phanteks case, would this make the process easier? I didn't see anything that would indicate as such when doing research / reading the manual.

Solution
Not 100% sure but I’ll do my best:
  1. Since they’re digital RGB they should connect to the 3 pin addressable RGB header
  2. Yes, that should work
  3. Not unless you dont have a 3 pin RGB header, which you do
  4. Since youll be connecting rgb to your motherboard and controlling it through software, i dont think youll need to worry about anything.
