I've been wondering about upgrading graphics cards recently and I was looking into possibly Having duel cards instead of an upgrade. I have an Nvidia Geforce 960 and I was wondering if upgrading to a 1070 would be better or if having two 960s would be better. My monitor runs at 1920x1080.
Second question if duel 960s would be better am I even able?
My specs are:

ASUS z170
Nvidia Geforce 960 4g
650 Evga Pcu
I5 6600k CPU
32g ddr4 (editing so i went over board)

Ok, first off the motherboard you listed is for an AMD CPU. Second, I would not recommend SLI at all. If you are gaming, not all games support SLI, plus there is the issue of micro-studdering. I've run SLI before and won't do it again, it's a pain in the ass. If I were you, I would buy a GTX1070 and sell your 960.

Its a no brainer. The 1070 will be so much better than 2 960s for all the reason already mentioned. If money is not a concern get the 1070. If money is a concern get the 1070. Good luck
