Questions about SSD Boot Drive (Windows 10)

So I have a Samsung SSD That I use for my boot drive. My question is, is there somehow I can make it so random things are not saving to that drive. I have taken great care to make sure as little as possible goes onto that drive but there are still things that go onto it without my permissions.

Thank you in advance.

For instance, that Razer software.
In reality, though, you DO want most/all of your applications on the SSD...

For most things, no problem.
Read these:
Win 7 & 8: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1834397/ssd-redirecting-static-files.html
Win 8.1 & 10: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html

Now...some things DO write to the SSD no matter what you do. But unless this is a space issue, don't stress.
What size is this drive?

The drive is 232GB so space is NOT an issue just kind of nit picky on my part. Like I said I have taken care to attempt little other than OS things to go onto that drive, including set Google Chrome to only download to my HDD, same with Steam, etc. Is there some way to set up some permission type thing for this drive?

For example I just reinstalled "Razer Synapse" and that is one of many things I have downloaded that does not ask the location to be downloaded.

Also if you know a few examples of the things that save to the SSD no matter what, can you tell me a few? Or provide a link to something that does, it possible?

Games/video/music/doc/downloads? Sure...those go to other drives.
But that 250GB SSD is there to be used. Use it!
