[SOLVED] Questions about the Asus VG27AQ monitor regarding display port 1.2 with HDR.

Hi guys, I have heard that display port 1.2 does not support HDR. but for the Samsung Odyssey G5 I have seen someone talk about it can be done. The Samsung model is display port 1.2.

I am wondering can it be done with the Asus VG27AQ as well ? Does anyone have this monitor tried it ?

Version numbers aren't a real thing for devices, they're just a casual description. It has no genuine technical meaning, so there is no way to determine conclusively what a device supports or doesn't support just from the "version number" it claims. See here.
