Does anyone have the details about what this AA does? The description
is:

Stasis (Activated) - Use of this ability causes your opponent
to immediately fall into a deep sleep. The effect last for up to
one minute per rank.

So is it just like a normal mez, except that I can use it from a
hotkey? Does it work on unmezzable mobs? From the description, I
can't see what benefit it has over my mez spells.

Assuming there is more than one rank, it has a lot higher duration
than normal mez spells, which tend to last less than a minute, AFAIK.
Not that I've ever played an enchanter beyond level 4...

Doesn't work on mobs flagged unmezable. Lasts 1 min per rank, so at level 3
it is a 3 minute mez. The resist check -1000 magic so practicaly
unresistable.

It's got a -1000 resist modifier, 1.5 second cast time, and doesn't have the
2.25 second delay after casting a spell before you can cast another.
Lasts one minute per level.

Works up to level 73 mobs, only if they're not flagged immune to mez.

It's handy as a backup mez on a hard-hitting mob that resists your first mez
attempt. Rather than trying to survive for the 4.5 seconds until you can
recast your normal mez and maybe get resisted again, hit Stasis and it'll
almost always work.

The long reuse timer makes it less than stellar, though. Level one is worth
getting, further levels I'd probably wait until you've got everything else
that's vaguely interesting.

Well, lets see, hotkeyable, does not take up a spell slot, extra mez
available, can't imagine what benefit that could possibly have...

As a shaman, I have an AA that allows me to knock a mob back and root it.
Now, you could ask what possible use could that be, I have root already,
quite a variety of roots even. Same deal, hotkeyable, zero mana, no
spell slot root.
