Hi all. I have a question about a EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1563-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi). Newegg link- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130610

Will this GPU bottleneck on my system?

AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.40Ghz BE (Deneb) no overclock, Corsair A-70 Heatsink, 16 GB Corsair XMS DDR3, Asus M4A79T Deluxe motherboard, currently running a Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT ( I know, very outdated), Thermaltake 700W 80 Plus Bronze, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, Western Digital 500GB 7200 RPM HDD, Western Digital 5000 RPM 500GB HDD, Western Digital 5000RPM 320GB HDD, Western Digital 1TB external, Seagate 2 TB external.

I am looking to get a better WEI rating as of right now my Aero graphics is a 5.0 and My gaming is a 6.3. I am an avid movie watcher and love HD and HD3D. I do play some games but I'm not a hardcore gamer. I am very uneducated in graphics cards. I have only ever used Nvidia and no nothing about AMD. As for SLI, maybe in the future. I would like to buy this within a week or two and have found new ones on Ebay for around $209 US. I would like to stay in that budget.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as I am lost when it comes to good GPU's.

Thanks so much for your time,

As GI jones said, there are other cards that would do what you need to do just as well, and provide a lower price point. For what you are doing, I would recommend you the radeon hd 6850 (a very budget oriented card), or the radeon hd 6870 (budget oriented with higher performance)

The 6850 goes for a significant amount less than the 560, and offers roughly equal performance. The 6870 goes for about the same price of the 560, but offers higher performance, almost that of the 560ti but not quite (it often gets beat by up to 10 frames per second) I highly doubt you will be able to use the 560ti to its full potential, even in 3d applications. The cards I recomended will still be able to handle modern games on ultra settings (I've managed to push my 6850 to play bf3 on full) and best of all will keep a little extra cashi in your pocket :sol:
