Questions about the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

I have a Vostro 410 and I was wondering if the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Quad-Core Processor, 2.40 GHz, 8M L2 Cache, LGA 775 was completely compatible with my pc. If so, what heatsink or extra things would I need to buy to completely install the processor?
Specs:
GPU : GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53Ghz
Memory: 4 GB Ram
P.S. Im new at installing processors, so the help would be nice.

Dell sold Vostro 410 models with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 in them so its definitely compatible.

Dell says the Vostro 410 is compatible with any “Core 2 Quad processor with a FSB of up to 1333MHz”.

For a heatsink: Whatever fits in your budget that is able to cool a 105W/95W CPU. (The odler revision had 105W TDP, on the later one they were able to reduce it to 95W)
The E7200 has a TDP of 65W btw, but depending on the al ready installed cooler it could be sufficient.

Q9650 works. Q6700 are all the G0 stepping 95W.
