Questions about the upcoming Antec cases

I've been seeing a lot about the DF-85 and Lanboy Air cases that Antec releasing this year, but there isn't a whole lot of information to match up with the pictures/previews. I'm hoping that someone here either has some connections, or at least reads more sites than I do and can answer a few questions.

1) What are the maxium graphics card sizes for the new cases? (DF-85, DF-30, Lanboy Air)

2) Which of them accept the Antec CPX series PSUs?

3) Do any of the cases have removable motherboard trays?

4) Are there estimated prices for these cases yet?

5) When are they due to be released?

The last one I'm really confused about, because it seems that every time I see some information about these cases, there's someone saying "They should be out next month", but from 2-3 months ago! I really hope the Dark Fleet series doesn't end up the Duke Nukem Forever of hardware.


On a related note, one of the articles I saw from CES2010 mentioned that there might be a CP-1250 or similar output PSU coming out alongside the new cases, is this just idle speculation?

Here is a message direct from Antec Rep:

Dimensions:
DF-30 is 19.1” (H) x 7.8” (W) x 19.1” (D)
DF-85 is 23.5” (H) x 8.4” (W) x 19.9” (D)

Fans:
The DF-30 has a 1 x top special 140mm TwoCool™ fan
The DF 85 has 2 x top 140mm TwoCool™ fans

The Dark Fleet series at CES 2010 is pretty much the final product.

Prices to the dark fleet series has yet to be determined. I will definitely inform you on the price once it is released.

I'm not sure why there are not cable mounting holes on the DF-30. I might have to get back to you on that.

As far as the video cards are concerned. I haven't seen the DF-30 in person yet but on paper the maximum video card (without any mods) size that the case can hold is 11.5". It should definitely fit the 5870 but I don't think it will fit a 5970. In comparison, the DF-85 can fit video cards up to 12.5" so that should be able to fit both the 5870 and 5970.

That's all I've got officially. Unofficially it appears as if the released date has been pushed back to June. Don't quote me on that.

I took a look at very detailed close-up photos of both models.

The interior of the DF-30 appears to be very similar to one of the Antec Nine Hundred models. The interior of the DF-85 appears to be identical to the Antec Twelve Hundred.

Both cases definitely had an Antec CPX series psu installed. You can't mistake those black stealthy psu's.

Neither case had a removeable motherboard tray. They are rapidly becoming obsolete anyway.

Both cases have removeable dust filters.

The psu's were mounted in the bottom rear of the case but neither case has provisions for mounting the psu fan-side down.

That's all I've got. I don't have anything about the lanboy or the new psu. 🙁

DF-85 is very similar to 1200

Prices are not out yet.

The cases should be released next month (May) or June at latest.

We are not coming out with the CP-1250 anytime soon.

Hopefully we can get a definitive date on the cases soon, as I'm looking to build a new computer at the end of the month. While I'd be willing to hold off for a week or two on the new models if I knew they were coming, everything staying up in the air like this is making me seriously consider going for another brand.
