Hello. I recently bought an HP P6727C from the good people at Woot.com mostly for the purpose of some low end gaming. The system is not cutting edge by any means but it blows my old laptop out of the water, so its all relative I suppose. A few recommendations I got where to upgrade the Power Supply and to install a video card, considering the card installed now is an ATI 4200.

My PC specs: http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c02640178&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=120&contentType=SupportFAQ&prodSeriesId=5035348&prodTypeId=12454

To summarize: I am curious about suitable replacements for the Power Supply, Video Card, and any other components that would fit into my budget of ~$200.
Concerned mostly with the PSU and Video Card aspect though, but if its something worth looking into, I'm definitely open to suggestion.

Solution
I'd look at getting a GTX 460/560 and a decent 450w+ power supply. Don't get a super cheap brand PSU, look for Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, etc. Here are a few quick ones:

Card:

or:

PSU

or:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371044

I wouldn't suggest going with anything too massive in there, but those are my picks.

A late and much deserved thanks to you sir, I selected a card and psu from your list, both are installed and work great. Enjoying some Mass Effect 2 as we speak!
