Question Questions About Using Bookshelf Speakers with Desktop

I was interested in getting these speakers to use with my computer because I have heard good things about them, but they aren't powered. I was wondering how this would work with a desktop? My motherboard is an ASRock Z790 Steel Legend Wifi.

and once I have the amp, what's the proper way to hook it up to the mobo?

that will work. bluetooth is nice as you can link your phone or laptop to it as well.
