Does it allow you to choose which BIOS you are updating on the GIGABYTE UEFI DualBIOS? Main and Backup? Reason I ask is I need to update the BIOS to use Kaby Lake on a Z170X Gaming 7. I do not have QFlash + which allows you to update the BIOS without CPU or Memory. Since I only have Q Flash I am going to need to install a Skylake CPU and Memory to update the BIOS to support Kaby Lake.
My worries are that I update the MAIN BIOS to support KABY but if I have to reset in case of crash to use the BACKUP BIOS it will not recognize the Kaby Lake processor. So I wanted to confirm that you can use Q Flash to update the Backup and Main BIOS? And is it a separate process to update the main and backup BIOS?

Solution
Sorry Calvin, you CAN update the BACKUP BIOS MANUALLY!

THANKS GIGABYTE FOR THE ANSWER.
Dear Chris,

There are two update options in the Q-Flash, quick and normal. Quick will just flash the main BIOS and the normal will flash both. Make sure you do the normal flash so both BIOS will be updated. Thank you.

Chris, I want to upgrade my system and I will be buying a gigabyte motherboard that only supports the KabyLake i7 processor after the bios update to F20 version, so how do I do it? If I turn the pc on with the kaby lake processor BEFORE updating the bios, will the system boot to the bios at least?
