Hi guys,

I need your advice.

I have a old PC that I would like to upgrade for gaming (I bought it in 2011 and I don't mind bad graphic for now). I won't do any video editing or streaming.

I think about upgrading my GPU and my RAM (buy a new set of 16gb, have only 4 gb now).

What I would like to keep from my PC for now:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3
https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-GA-Z68X-UD4-B3-1155-Intel-Motherboard/product-reviews/B004ZQ6F7C

CPU: i7-2600k

Power supply: 750W 80+ Bronze Thermaltake
Drive: SSD 240gb + Hard drive of 2T

Upgrade:

For my GPU I was thinking about this:

For my RAM I was thinking about this:
https://www.newegg.ca/g-skill-16gb-240-pin-ddr3-sdram/p/N82E16820231489?Description=ddr3 1600 8gb&cm_re=ddr3_1600_8gb--20-231-489--Product

My final goal would be to upgrade my motherboard+CPU+New Ram in the next 2 years.

Is this possible?

Thank you!

A 1660 Super would be a good deal now for a video card and your CPU will not bottleneck it too much. If you could find 4GB of RAM cheap just for a little boost till you can upgrade the board/cpu/ram in 1 shot would be fine.

I will follow your advice for the RAM. Thanks for your help!
