Questions for server processor

Alright, which processor would be more suitable in a server enviroment.

(Repurposed desktop)
Athlon 64 3200+

Or 2 2.4GHZ Xeon's SL7D4's (Boxed version)

Just asking and kind of new to server computing...Can somebody help me in this?

Lol yeah, just asking though.
With server tasks of
-Minecraft
-Deploying Windows and WSUS
-Media Sharing

All on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise x64

So thats why i was asking bout it..lol.

I'm pretty sure the amd supported ecc ram if you had a motherboard that also worked with ecc memory. Either one would do ok in a simple server; i'm just not sure about what minecraft would need.

I forgot to add that the server is an OS Host and a file sharing server.
As is right now the server does fine with MC and media sharing but the os hosting part... not so good. Doesnt deploy windows too well neither..
