I was wondering if this pc build was good for the price. If so, what could it play? Could it play DayZ, Battlefield 4, COD WAW, COD BO2, and any other recent games? Are there any parts that you would recomend that are better and cheaper that also fit with all of the other parts to build a pc? Thank you in advance for any assistance!

That's all good, unlocked means that your cpu can be overclocked. Since you aren't overclocking, they you should get an Intel cpu without the K on the end of it.

first of all, you're buying a unlocked processor, and no cooler. a coolermaster hyper 212 evo is a great choice for only 30 bucks. also, your case supports full atx mobos, so you should get a full sized atx board with support for another 970, for when you have the extra money. the ram is too expensive, you can buy a 20 bucks cheaper option for the same performance. the psu isnt really great, you should look for something with better reviews and better quality for overclocking. an ssd is a must these days for anything above 600(ish) bucks, so a 120 gig ssd should cost 50-60 bucks and will DRAMATICALLY effect the responsiveness of your machine. the case, cpu, gpu and hdd are fine, and especially the gtx 970 is a GREAT price:performance card.
Hope this helps :)
