I figured ya'll would be able to help me out. I'm new to PC building and recently made my first with some old stuff from my previous pre-built pc and some new stuff I got when I finally had the money. I won't bore you with the details of every component, but here is what's probably relevant.
What I currently have: Case: Corsair 780t (black) CPU Cooler: Corsair GTX H110i (mounted at the top)
What I plan to add later on: Graphics Cards: EVGA 980ti Hybrid (x2 SLI)
Right now all the fans I have are the fans that came with the case and the CPU cooler and I'm looking to replace them with Corsair Quiet Edition fans (SP and AF). I want to run anything that has a rad attached to it in push pull, so the CPU Cooler (x4 fans on top) and the graphics cards (x2 fans each). I know for sure I'd like to put fans everywhere I can to best optimize the flow of air in my case. Which after doing the math, should be 11 fans in total. Also I've removed one of the HDD cages and the base stand and put the remain HDD cage above my drive bay so that only the dust filter is interfering with the air flow from the front of the case.
Questions:
1. Where should be the in take fans and exhaust fans be? (I was thinking in take for bottom and front and exhaust for back and top)
2. Where should I put the rads for both the graphics cards? (top is taken my CPU cooler)
3. I'm assuming I'll need a good fan controller for all these fans, I was thinking about getting this one http://amzn.to/1PxDc5u . If it's not good, what would you recommend?
4. I know for rads, SP fans are good for in take and AF fans are good for exhaust when push/pulling. But since I have dust filters everywhere but the back, should I just get SP fans for both sides since the dust filters have a lot of resistance to them? And make the back an AF?
