A while back I posted a thread asking how to install an SSD, but I'm still not 100% shure what to do. I have my SSD, it's a HP ex900, so a DRAMless NVMe M.2, but I don't know where to start the installation process(software side). I found an old video from when Linus still worked for NCIX, and that seemed like what I needed, but I'm having my doubts about whether or not that'll get me the most out of my m.2 or even work. Anyway, is there a way to make a ssd the main boot without having to manually copy your old computer? Or is the best thing to do move all the files from hdd to an external drive, plug out hdd, do fresh install of windows on M.2, format hdd, than move the files from the external drive to the desired location on the pc?
