questions on NTSC and PAL

if you are in Europe with a camera from the states (NTSC), is there a switch that enables PAL capability or do you need a PAL camera. Thanks in advance.

you mean to play back from a portable video camera into someone's tv set? and they're still using old analog signals? depends on the tv - some might be able to sync with NTSC using a sync switch or something.

digital (like hdmi) has thankfully removed all of this NTSC / PAL / SECAM garbage.
