Can I upgrade the CPU after purchase? Will this void the warranty?

I've searched for the chipset the E520 uses, and some motherboards support Core2Extreme processors. Is the E520 limited to Core2Duo chips only in the Core2 series?

Is there a reference site to view all technical specifications of the E520 model?

Those are the main questions I have right now. I'd try contacting Dell, but they seem to only give support after the product has been purchased, and I want to know certain things beforehand.

You must rebuy XP as its OEM and you can't reuse with changed hardware.

If you must get a Dell use it for 3 years and replace totally.

Otherwise get a custom built one. Warranties are all individual on each part.

Core2 Extreme cpu are a total waste of money. Again a custom can overclock a regular just as fast. Find a shop that does it free.

Shoot. Thank you for your response to this.

I may or may not be getting it since it looks like a late Christmas present might be a computer. It's still a Dell, so the info you've given is still useful to me.
