Questions regarding installing W10 onto my new build

Hi all,

So I have all my parts ordered and on the way, sans the OS. I don't have a optical drive on my new build so I would have to install Windows through a USB.

Would I be able to create a Windows 10 installation media from my current Windows 10 OS on my old build using this tool here? If I made that, would I be able to just plug it into my build and put in a serial key?

Since I plan on selling my old build I need a new serial key, and the only place I can find that sells just serial keys to download is on the Microsoft store for ~£120. I have seen retail DVDs on other sites for cheaper, would those have a serial key compatible?

Final question is regarding the OEM or Retail copies. I've read that OEM is one time use, and in the event of a reinstall you'd need a new key, however I've also read that you can link Windows 10 to your Microsoft account, so would that make OEM more than one time use? Or will I still need retail in case of reinstalls?

Thanks to those who take the time to read and answer!

If you purchase a Win 10 license, you can transfer that to new hardware.
Read and do this before you change any parts:

1. Create a Win 10 install here:

Licensing:
Where did your current Win 10 OS come from? OEM/Retail...the line is significantly blurred with Win 10.
If you sell your old PC with the current license, you will need to purchase a new one for your new PC.

Be REALLY careful about where you purchase an OS license from. If it is significantly cheaper than MS, it is likely not valid.

My current OS is from a pre-built system I purchased a couple of years ago, hence my questions as I haven't had to do this before.

I'm aware of the invalid serial keys, which is why I was likely going to buy an OEM / Retail copy after I knew if linking an OEM to a Microsoft account is possible.

I was going to sell the old one which is why I am looking into the details of purchasing a new license.
