Question Questions regarding laptop battery

Hi guys,

I'm doing a little bit research about this two questions and wonder if anyone knows:



1.Does heavy load tasks which cause higher temperature have relation with higher risk of turning a battery into a faulty one?

2.For a faulty battery, does heavy load tasks which cause higher temperature have relation with higher risk of exploding/burning?

Heavy load wont make the battery temperature really high. But if you using it with while charging (plugged in and charging), it will make the temperature little bit high and shorten their life span.

Of course high temperature have a risk of exploding/burning, but it's very rarely (Battery Laptop explode).

---> I'm a little confused: So heavy load won't make the battery temperature really high? but just a little bit higher or Little bit (with "a") higher? I think the heavy load make the whole laptop temperature significantly higher thus makes the battery temperature higher too, is this correct?
When you say "using it with while charging" you mean it's both heavy load and charging? Why charging + heavy load makes the battery temperature little bit higher or "A" little bit higher (I guess I'm learning english here which I think this "A" makes a difference, I want to get what you mean) I think just either charing or heavy load will make the battery temperature higher.

This question is related to HEAVY LOAD, will heavy load makes the temperature higher which leads to a higher risk of exploding/burning? or the heavy load yes will make the temperature higher but it's just a little little bit higher which doesn't count as a higher risk of exploding/burning?

I got what you mean. But when I do heavy-load on my macbook pro or iPhone, the machine becomes very hot and significantly higher temperature for the machine, I think the battery will be significantly higher temperature too, not just "little higher", anyone agree?
 
To answer your questions:

1. Yes, heavy load tasks lead to high temperatures, which in turn can affect the battery. It wouldn't be much of an issue if you carry out heavy tasks once in a while. But, if it will be on a consistent basis, then you need a laptop that is capable of handling the load.

2. The risk of exploding or burning is a rare phenomenon even when heavy load tasks are performed on a faulty battery in a consistent basis.

I can understand the high temperature or overheating issue that you are experiencing with your battery pack. But, in most cases, this is quite normal and should not have any adverse effective, like burning or exploding.

A battery does not increase in temperature when charging or being used nearly as much as the CPU or video card, so no you can't go by what the other components to and assume the battery does the same. Many computers can read the battery temperature and system monitoring software can show you what that is, or you can do the same yourself with a surface thermometer.
