So I am putting together a new build finally after about eight years with a little extra money and some black Friday deals. I am reusing my lian li x900 case and my zalman 1000w psu and also sticking with my dual 560ti's until I see what happens with the 1080ti and 1080 prices. I'll also likely use my current storage as secondary storage. I already put in a few orders and then remember afterward that I neglected to get a copy of windows 10 and so had to go back and order that separate. Today I remembered I forgot to get thermal paste to go with my new cpu. I am hoping to put one last order in for petg tubing and coolant and some tube bending tools. Anything else you can see that I'm forgetting??? Thanks.

If you must buy a thermal paste be sure to get something branded. Best Buy often has a geek squad that is of no use and often would pay to learn some valuable knowledge. I stick to Arctic Cooling's MX-2 but you can make do with Arctic Silver 5.

We always have one of those days ;) though you're welcome!

You mentioned PETG tubing but I don't see fittings mean't for PETG tubing...or did you forget to paste a link to it? You also didn't know it but you get a small tube of TIM in the EKWB kit. Regardless it's never a bad thing to have some thermal paste handy for the future. You also didn't state if you'd like to watercool your GPU's.

As a brushup, it'd have been good to learn of your chassis and existing system's specs to understand what you have and what you're moving onto.

Okay.

Decided against the petg for the time being. Whenever I get something solid about a 1080i/490 I'll get a new card(not cooled yet I don't think) and then I'll have to reroute the tubing because I have to move the GPU.

Glad there is thermal paste with the EKWB. Is it decent?

Moving from old as heck(what is in the specs at the bottom) to hopefully something that will last a few years.

It's supposed to be one of the best out there but the quantity is erm little compared to the TIM you buy in retail. Speaking of which what TIM id you get? In terms of relevance it's always proper etiquette to post your full system's specs in your thread body, why? Because specs in a sig space will almost always change over time and this thread will become irrelevant to anyone who happens to be in the same boat as you are in now.

To bring another matter to light, the fitting necessary for rigid tubing are very different from that used in flexible tubing plumbing thus the inquiry and subsequent awareness of perhaps a mistake.
