[SOLVED] Quick Compatibility Question Surround Memory

Hey Guys so I am thinking of picking up a new motherboard and CPU in the near future. I currently own a pair of G. Skill 8gb sticks (F4-2400C15D-16GVR ). On the G. Skill website it says it is QVL with the Asus Prime z390-A however, the motherboard manual does not list that exact kit in the compatibility section for memory (it does list similar G. Skill kits). From your guys past experience if the kit is not listed should I strictly avoid using that kit? Or is it probably going to work fine as indicated on the G. Skill website. I feel as if it is probably a better idea to go off of the motherboard manufacturer but wanted some additional input.

More than likely it will run just fine QVL isn't a definitive list.
