Quick Memory Question

Hello,
I currently have a 2gb ram stick clocked at 698MHz.
If I upgrade to a 4gb stick at 1600Mhz will I feel a boost?

Do you have DDR3 or DDR2, they aren't compatible!
To upgrade DDR2 RAM you need DDR2 RAM

I've not heard of DDR3 that slow. But if you are sure, then faster RAM would help your performance. Make sure that your motherboard supports that speed.

It does support that speed.
