Quick noob question about system fan connectors

System fan connectors are for case fans right? And also 2 bonus questions, but these are probably dumber. This mobo I bought doesn't include the ram I want in the compatible ram, but this shouldn't matter as long as it's DDR3 right? The 2nd question is VGA compatibility they're all msi manufactured video cards...I got the Diamond R9 270X, but I'm assuming it'll still work. http://us.msi.com/support/mb/A78ME35.html#support-vga

about the RAM, DDR3 fits all latest mobo's. just check if u need a 32bit or 64bit OS

Yes SYS FAN is for case fans. I would recommend 16OOMhz RAM from a reputable brand for pretty much assured compatibility.

Hmm I see...also another dumb question, about rebates. So there's a date for when the rebate is valid say 1/1 to 1/7. Say if I buy the product on 1/7, I can still get my rebate right?

Yes SYS_FAN and CHA_FAN connectors are for fans that you want to run continuously.

In this day and age there is nearly no reason not to use a 64bit OS, even if you do have less then 4GB of memory, leaves room for upgrading anyway.

I assume by VGA compatibility you mean that the video card will be compatible with the system and are not referring to the support of a VGA monitor (which the video card likely does with an adapter). PCI Express has been a standard for a good while now. Anything that fits will 'work' as long as there are drivers for the OS and you have provided adequate power.
