I have a top mounted PSU in XPS 9000 and I'm about to be changing it for a cooler master v750 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171094&cm_re=Cooler_Master_V750-_-17-171-094-_-Product) The problem is, I realized it had a fan on the top. If my PSU is top mounted, wont the fan heat up because it will be facing the case? Or would I simply install it upside down to disperse the air that way?

THANKS!

Solution
install it upside down. so that the fan is pushing toward the cpu. It wont hurt anything and PSUs can be mounted any way as long as it fits and the air is pushing some where other than toward the case.

Thanks, just needed to make sure! I've never dabbled with upgrading/buying new PC parts
