Hey. I wanted to know if my board, MSI B350 Gaming Pro Carbon, will support Zen2 (Matisse) refresh. I was kinda disappointed when they said that B350 boards will not support Zen3, so this will be a nice goodbye for B350. I´m assuming that it´s the same chip, just overclocked. Can someone clarify this? Thanks!

On the CPU Compatibility page (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350-GAMING-PRO-CARBON#support-cpu it shows BIOS 7b00v1j along with a link to doanload it.

Yet on there BIOS download page they only have 7B00v1JQ listed . (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350-GAMING-PRO-CARBON#down-bios)
I flashed bios today, from J to JQ, I think I´m gonna stay with JQ since it enabled me to OC my RAM from 2933Mhz to 3200Mhz. Something which wasn´t possible on J. I think that JQ is the recommended one since when you search "B350 Gaming Pro Carbon Bios" on Google site with JQ shows up, right? Also is it true that AGESA 1.0.0.4B enabled BIOSes hinder the performace? Thanks dude.

I would definitely stay with the newer BIOS version available from the MBs support page
Version - 7B00v1JQ (Beta version)
Release Date - 2019-12-03
File Size - 9.28 MB
Description
  • Update AMD ComboPI1.0.0.4 Patch B (SMU v46.54)
  • Improved OC memory compatibility.
  • Improved system boot up time
  • Improved PCI-E device compatibility.

As for AGESA 1.0.0.4B read this:
