Quick question about adding RAM to an O/C'd machine

Hello Toms!

I've got another 2GB of RAM coming tomorrow, do I need to return my system to factory settings before I install the new sticks, or will they be recognized and auto clocked to the same as the RAM that's already in the board?

MOBO: Gigabyte P35 DS3L
CPU: E2180 @ 2.8GHZ
RAM: A-Data DDR2-800
O/S: Vista 32bit

Just try, if it doesn't work out you'll find out fast enough

It should set the new RAM to whatever current BIOS settings are. So if those settings are out of spec with the RAM, you may have issues.
