Quick Question about Directx11.2 and Directx on Installation Cd

Hey guys.

I just recently updated to Windows 8.1. I'm reading that the version of directx on 8.1 is directx11.2. I was using the installation cd of my evga gtx780 graphics card and accidentally installed the version of directx which was on the cd which apparently was 11.

Now im wondering, did i just change my directx 11.2 back to 11? If I did, how do i re-update it back to 11.2? Thanks for your help

Windows won't downgrade DirectX versions. If it sees you have a newer version it doesn't install anything.

My answer stands.
If you run a DX installation it looks like something's installing, however Windows in reality will NOT downgrade you to an older version. I don't know if anything gets installed, but I do know Windows will only use the newest version already installed.
