whats the max resolution dual link dvi-d cable can do and whats the max hz it can do? i am planning on a 1440p 165hz monitor and wondering if my cable can perform that. ty

the resolution with 165hz is very demanding for dvi cable .. you can use a display port cable or hdmi cable to handle for such performance ... im pretty sure that a monitor with 165 hz will have option for display port and hdmi ...
