I now have money to upgrade my system. I currently have a Pentium G3220, 8GBs 1600 RAM (Downclocked to 1333), 1TB HDD, and I'm using the iGPU. I was only going to buy a card like a R7-260x but then when I saw benchmark videos about the G3220 with the card, it would slow the card down because the CPU just can't process all the information the GPU is throwing at it. So, I'm deciding to get the bit cheaper Zotac GTX 750 for $89.99 (Great deal) and a Pentium G3258 for $69.99. I'm hoping that the G3258 will overclock to 3.8GHZ+ with a H81 mobo and a stock cooler. I'll later buy a Hyper 212 Evo for better cooling and more overclocking headroom. And I'm overall wishing that the 750 will be able to run at its max speed without getting held back. So is the Pentium G3258 and the Zotac GTX 750 a good bet?
