I have a AsRock B450M Pro 4, a 512gb Silicon Power A80 m2.2280, and a wireless network card that uses pci express 1.

Am I able to use the PCI x1 area next to my M2 SSD, or do these use the same channel? Can't find anything wrong with it in manual, but wanted to ask here first.

Solution
- 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2242/2260/2280 M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Matisse, Picasso, Summit Ridge, Raven Ridge and Pinnacle Ridge) or Gen3 x2 (16 Gb/s) (with Athlon 2xxGE series APU)**

- 1 x M.2 Socket (M2_2), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module

*M2_2 and SATA3_3 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the other one will be disabled.

Your cpu has multiple pcie lanes it uses, and the pcie chipset has others it uses, and on this board the pcie x16 and x1 and M2_1 are cpu, the M2_2 is chipset and shares with the Sata #3 port. Since the SP A80 is pcie x4 NVMe, it'll only go in the M2_1 slot and is standalone, not sharing or affecting either the...
