Quick question for an upgrade

I currently have an RX 480 and a Phenom II X4 850 (7 years old). I'm thinking of upgrading to FX 6300. Will I see a big difference in FPS boost? I also thought about getting a 1151 MoBo and an i3 6100, but every 1151 socket MoBo only supports DDR4 RAM and I can't afford DDR4 ram. My budget is 100-120€, so better suggestions are welcome.

You'll only see a boost in performance by upgrading to Kabylake or Ryzen.

Unfortunately, you're sort stuck with the old AMD platform. The FX-6300 will only give you about 10% better performance (http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Phenom-II-X4-850-vs-AMD-FX-6300/m3577vs1555). You'll hardly notice the difference. Save up some money until you can afford a new mobo, CPU and RAM.
