I built my pc about 6 years ago and recently my ssd drive decided to died. I bought the new samsung 970 evo thinking i can put it on my motherboard. The shop provided me a sata adapter which i couldn't get it to work. When i brought it back to them, they gave me a replacement adapter (claiming the sata adapter was not working). This time they gave me an adapter that supposed to work with pci-e or sata. So i spent few hours after work with no luck.
Can some one please tell me if the above combo is a no go? If a go, any tip to get around this?
Any help would be much appreciated.
