Quick Question

I have a D945GTP Motherboard..and usin a 400wat psu..would it be okay to put a new psu in which is about 500-600 watt? i hear that sometimes if your hardware isnt suppose to go over 400psu for example? but would mine be okay? because i want to put in a new video card and 2gigs of memory

Upgrading with a good PSU will present no problems.
