Question Quick RAM question.

Rig config:

CPU: i7 5930k.
Mother: MSI X99A Gaming 7
RAM: x2 Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2400C14, 8 GB DDR4-2400

Question:
I wanna upgrade from 16 to 32 RAM and here's the dead.
Is there any reason to buy additional x2 with the Mhz value higher, like 2666 - 3k? (Motherboard supports that) Since I remember something about bottlenecks and stuff with RAM having different frequency, that's why want an advice before buying.

I think that most likely the MB will default to the lowest value stick....so I don't see any point in buying faster than 2400 if you are going to use all 4 together.

What's the actual difference - 16gb 2400 vs 16gb 3k-3110?
