I have Linux installed on my SSD as my main (and only) OS.
I no longer want this, and plan to install a different OS, and do not want to retain the existing Linux OS as a dual-boot option.
What's the best way to go about doing this?
I don't need to 'securely wipe' the SSD, as I'm not getting rid of it. I just need to remove existing partitions and creating new, empty partitions, in preparation for installing an OS (I think?).
Edit: I've used DBAN before to wipe an old hard drive, but not sure if this might be overkill for what I'm trying to do?
Thanks!
