Basically just looking for your opinion on my fan placement. Below I provided a picture of my PC with arrows indicating fans and the direction I have them sending air, and you'll notice Ive starred the top red fan. All my other fans I know are in proper positions but I was just looking for your input on how I should have that top red LED fan. Right now as the picture indicates it is serving as an exhaust but Ive recently seen someone with almost an identical rig using that fan spot as an intake. What do you think I should have it as? Right now theres no GPU but thats coming soon, whether or not thatll have any say in which direction that top LED should go Im not sure. Thanks :)

And how about one without all the paint marks because its pretty 😉

I've always had fans at the top venting out, since hot air will naturally move up.

But with your CPU fan right there I was almost want it blowing in so your CPU cooler can immediately grab that cooler air.

Tough call because you also, ideally, want to keep fans in/out balanced.

3 Fans in from bottom.
2 exit top, + power supply fan and video card exhausting air as well (assuming video card has a fan that exhausts air).
So..
3 Intake
4 Exhaust

Maybe flipping that red fan might be a good idea, although counterintuitive.

Worst case fire up some stress test software and log temps for a couple hours.
Flip that red fan and log temps again and see what you get.

I don't think I actually helped lol...sorry.

Exactly, that was my natural instinct to have it as an exhaust because of heat rising etc, but then I saw that video of someone using it as an intake and it got me thinking about the same thing you mentioned, Kurdain. That perhaps its good to blow right into my CPU fan. haha. tough call indeed, but how i currently have it (exhaust) seems most logical. this is why i posted this! :)
