Just a simple question.
Will it be nice to buy gtx950 atm or shall i wait for some months and then buy it... Heard that Nvidia and Amd are launching new cards and hence the older ones get cheaper.... When is that scenario probably taking place??

nvidia will be over the coming months and AMD should have a decent line around November
it supply and demand. nvidia has stop making the maxwell chips and when they run out so will the 950 from aib. my self i would wait for the newer gpu then wait for them to go on sale. there going to be faster and use less power then the older lines. so there last longer in entry level builds.
Prices on previous gen cards do not drop when the next generation launches.
Nvidia halts production before the next gen launches, so there isnt much stock to get rid of.
You may see slight discounts followed by increased pricing on remaining units.
Pascal entry level/midrange cards will not be launching soon, they are coming later.
You will probably only see price drops on ebay, craiglist because people will be selling their old cards when new cards come out.
You can also check out EVGA B-Stock items. They have good deals there as well.
Ok... So the thibg that comes out is i shall not bothee about 950 anymore and should wsit for the new series to get into the market nd then get on sale.... Actually i am not a hardcore gamer and would like to spend roughly 150USD or 20000INR...
Is it a safe bet to wait till the launch of new seeies of cards??...
I just got confusion.... Will i be able to use AMD gpu on the mobo that supports SLI(which is for nvidia)??...pardon me if i am wrong anywhere
For 20k you can get a GTX 960 or a GTX 970 secondhand, I'm from India too. Any mobo that has a PCI-e x16 slot will support any graphics card irrespective of memory type. As for your mobo it has a PCI-e x16 slot, so it is supported.
Not really sure if i shall buy a second hand.... Not really interested in buying those... Might save and buy a gtx 970 or wait for pascal series to launch??
