As long as the PSU outputs at least 22 amps, you should be fine, and I'm quite sure it likely does.

400W is tight for your build.
You will have really to depend on best quality PSU to do that.
Not all eVGA PSUs are goog...some are not
I would recommend to get a bit more e.g. 500W just to make sure.

but...hmm..in all of your link I see 600W and not 400W...600W will do just fine

I have the 400w here. I just ordered the 600w today all my parts will be here tomorrow and Friday. Everything will be here tomorrow except the gpu and DVD/CD drive

I appreciate all of y'alls answers it helped me to go ahead and buy the 600w psu. This is my first PC build and I'm super excited to see how it all turns out

I only see one 400w PSU on EVGA's site, and it has 34 amps. You'd have been fine with it for the 1060 you're specing, but the 600w will allow you to upgrade the GPU.

Compatible, yes. Performance wise, depends on what games you play and what settings you're OK with. You'll want to keep resolution at 1080p. A 1060 6GB will play most games at 60 FPS or more at max settings, but some games it won't.

That is why going forward I recommend a 1070 for those whom want 60 FPS at max settings on all games.
